By supporting accredited local businesses, participating in conservation efforts, and showing respect for Palauan customs, visitors earn points that open the door to exclusive places and cultural experiences rarely seen by outsiders.

Together, Palau Pledge and Ol’au Palau represent the future of tourism—one rooted in respect, sustainability, and shared responsibility. Palau is proud to be the first country in the world to bring this vision to life.

But this is just the beginning. Through sustainable action—backed by our pioneering immigration policy—Palau Pledge is also transforming how we engage the next generation. In partnership with Palau Community College and the Micronesian Voyaging Society, our Pledge Camps are evolving to integrate traditional voyaging, scientific research, and environmental stewardship into the popular Dive Camp program. From ridge to reef and into the deep blue sea, these immersive experiences engage youth in hands-on cultural learning and ecosystem protection.

This powerful collaboration expands the Pledge Network and builds momentum toward the full launch of Ol’au Palau in 2025 and the historic voyage of the Alingano Maisu to Hawai‘i in 2027—a journey that will carry not only our canoe, but our values, across the Pacific.
